Trade a rescued plant, a sunset portrait and surf tips for a 'friendly' cheek-kiss - sweet local barter or boundary crossed?

I volunteer beach cleanups in Wellington, love gardening and street portraits. I sometimes offer a tiny native plant cutting, a 5-min sunset portrait and surf tips - and once in a while I ask for a soft cheek-kiss as thanks. Charming or inappropriate?
