Partner of 18 months says unless I propose with a 'real' 40k diamond, don't propose - am I being gaslit or out of touch?
Paint-splattered, cycle-commuting Manchester artist here. After 18 months together they dropped this ultimatum about a real diamond - is this normal flexing or a massive red flag?
