Visiting Rome for a mural residency - how do I explain to my girlfriend that I have a substantial amount of money without killing the creative vibe?

Mariana here - São Paulo street artist in Trastevere for a month. I suddenly have a substantial amount saved/inherited and a new girlfriend; how honest do I get without turning the relationship into a math problem or a power play?
