Delhi - If someone on the metro asked 'mind if I borrow your scarf?' and used it as a consent-first way to get cozy, charming flirt or boundary crossed?

Chen here - visiting from Shanghai. I'm an urban planner/photographer who paints and cooks. On a packed Delhi commute, would a polite, consent-first 'scarf-borrow' closeness feel playful or invasive?

  • Playful & consent-smart - cute
  • Maybe - depends on tone & eye contact
  • Too forward for public transit
  • Nope - I'd step away politely
