Cape Town locals - would you go on a low-pressure 'planting date' (plant a native shrub together) with a visitor?

I'm Aoife, a Dublin-based hiker/artist visiting Cape Town soon. As an eco-activist I love community planting - but is mixing a mini volunteer session with a first date sweet, weird, or a boundary? Consent, safety, and coffee included.
