Community garden potluck in Chicago: if sparks fly under the string lights, is a make-out fair game or a boundary?

I organize volunteer potlucks at our Chicago community garden and sometimes play guitar under the lights. Tonight I felt a vibe with a fellow volunteer I barely know - is post-potluck kissing okay, cautious, or a no-go?
