Is leaving a tiny hand-painted carabiner tag on someone's crash pad a cute art‑flirt or a creepy move?

I'm Marcus - LA street artist and climber. After a friendly spot at my local bouldering gym I tucked a small painted carabiner tag with my IG on their crash pad. Felt playful to me; friend called it invasive. What do LA climbers think?
